Corrosion Resistant Linear Guides

Our Corrosion Resistant Linear guides provide precision low friction guidance of payloads for industrial machine and instrument applications. One or multiple bearing blocks can be mounted on a linear guide rail. Each bearing block has two rows of recirculating balls that engage the precision ground rail allowing almost frictionless movement. These products are available in sizes 15 up to size 25. Rail lengths up to 4000 mm ( 13.1 ft) long.

Excellent choice for multi-axis motion systems where high humidity or intermittent washdown is required.

This product can be found in food warehousing and processing centers where heavy containers of products need to be frequently moved in an out of cold storage and refrigerated containers.

Lightweight Assembly

Advantage

  • Works in any orientation, horizontal, vertical, etc.
  • Optimal Temperature Range: 0 to 60 deg C (32 to 140 deg F)

Load Capacity

A static load rating cannot be specified for this product due to the composition of the material. As a composite structure the stainless steel insert does not always react as a normal bearing raceway under heavy load conditions.

Therefore a calculation must be made that accounts for the load and also the moment about each axis. The combined load must not exceed the Fmax value of the block.   See catalog for calculation details on carriage size selection.
