Cross Roller Bearing Products

Crossed Roller Bearings are non recirculating type linear bearings known for their very smooth, high load carrying capacity, and precise motion. They are made to industry standard crossed roller geometry specifications and are dimensionally interchangeable with most other popular crossed roller products.

The ACC version is ideal for vertical orientation so the roller/retainer assembly won’t creep to one side of the assembly and eventually inhibit full motion.

What is a Bearing SET?

One bearing SET provides enough components to complete one axis of motion.  A set typically consists of:

  • 4 pieces, Linear Rails
  • 2 pieces, Cage/Roller Assembly
  • 8 pieces, End Screws or End Pieces

ACC version will not require the end screws since the cage/roller retainer is captured by the gear and rack mechanism. For mounting in your application each rails has an industry standard pattern of drill and tapped holes.

RSDE with ACC Technology (Anti-Cage Creep)

The RSDE with ACC is frequently used in applications where high dynamic applications.

ACC technology eliminates the need to re-center the cage/roller assembly during operation. This becomes most important in vertical orientation where the cage/roller assembly will have a tendency to creep downward due to gravity.

Product Features

  • Bearing Steel Rail Material
  • Counterbored Thru Holes
  • Polymer Cage/Roller Retainer with ACC
  • Roller Diameters 3, 4, and 6 mm
  • Stroke range from 25 – 316 mm

RSD Standard (without ACC)

The RSD has been around for a long time and is an industry standard made by many companies. It is a bit more economical than the RSDE with ACC.

Excellent product for applications requiring high rigidity and durability in a very small package.

Product Features

  • Product Features
  • Counterbored Thru Holes
  • Polymer Cage/Roller Retainer
  • Roller Diameters 1.5, 2, 3, 4, and 6 mm
  • Stroke range from 10 – 720 mm

RSDE Standard (without ACC)

The RSDE (extra capacity) cross roller bearings have also been around for a long time and is an industry standard made by many companies. Each unit offers high rigidity, low friction, and smooth movement for dynamic short stroke applications.

Internal geometry features such as a deeper ground V-groove (resulting in longer roller contact length), allow for Higher load ratings and higher stiffness in this product. This separates this series from the standard RSD series.

Product Features

  • Product Features
  • Counterbored Thru Holes
  • Polymer Cage/Roller Retainer
  • Roller Diameters 3, 4, and 6 mm
  • Stroke range from 28 – 360 mm
  • Increase Load Capacity and Stiffness
